These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Flow app for iPhone, iPad and Mac, operated by Darcy MacLellan ("Flow," "we," "us," or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Flow, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
 
1. THE SERVICE
 
Flow is a productivity application that lets you view and manage email and calendar events (via your connected Google account and your device's calendars) and tasks and notes (stored on your device and synced through your own iCloud account), in a single integrated interface. Flow acts as a client to these third-party services; it does not replace or independently host your Google or iCloud accounts.
 
2. ELIGIBILITY
 
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use Flow, and you must comply with the Apple App Store's applicable age requirements.
 
3. CONNECTING THIRD-PARTY ACCOUNTS
 
To use Flow's features, you'll connect a Google account and/or grant access to your device's Calendar, Reminders and Contacts, and to features such as location, notifications and the microphone, as you choose. Your use of Google services through Flow is also subject to Google's Terms of Service, and your use of iCloud is subject to Apple's iCloud Terms and Conditions. You're responsible for keeping your Google and Apple account credentials secure. Flow is not responsible for actions taken through your accounts if your credentials are compromised outside of Flow. You can revoke Flow's access to these accounts at any time through your Google Account settings or your device's system Settings.
 
4. SUBSCRIPTIONS AND PAYMENT
 
Flow is offered as a paid app and/or subscription through the Apple App Store. Pricing is shown at the point of purchase. All payments are processed by Apple. We do not collect or store your payment card details. Subscriptions, where offered, automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in accordance with Apple's subscription policies. Manage or cancel your subscription in your device's App Store account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with Apple's refund policies; we are not able to issue refunds directly.
 
5. ACCEPTABLE USE
 
You agree not to use Flow to violate any applicable law or the terms of service of Google, Apple, or any connected service; attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or interfere with the app's normal operation; use the app to send spam, unlawful, or abusive content through connected email accounts; or access accounts or data you're not authorized to access.
 
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
 
Flow, its design, logo, and underlying software are owned by us and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for your personal, non-commercial use, subject to these Terms. All content you access through connected Google or Apple accounts remains yours or belongs to the respective account holder.
 
7. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES DISCLAIMER
 
Flow depends on the availability and behavior of third-party services (Google APIs, Apple frameworks, iCloud and WeatherKit, and public services used for weather and the Today page, such as Open-Meteo, Wikipedia, ZenQuotes and a free dictionary service). We are not responsible for outages, changes, or discontinuation of these services, or for any loss of data that occurs within Google's or Apple's systems.
 
8. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
 
Flow is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.
 
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
 
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Flow and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising out of or related to your use of the app, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose.
 
10. TERMINATION
 
You may stop using Flow at any time by deleting the app and revoking its access to your connected accounts. We may suspend or terminate your access to the app if you violate these Terms.
 
11. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
 
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of Flow after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be reflected by an updated effective date above.
 
12. GOVERNING LAW
 
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Nova Scotia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
